Dr. Elie Bou Yazbeck

Elie Bou Yazbeck is Food Science Expert at The Ministry of Economy and Trade, Lebanon since 2009.  

He is also University teacher for several B.S. and M.S. levels courses related to Community Nutrition, Nutrition and public Health, Nutrition and Food safety at several universities in Lebanon (USEK, NDU, USJ and SAGESSE) since 2004.  

He earned a Ph.D. in Biology & Agro-Environmental Biotechnology from University of Perugia-Italy and a Master in Food and Nutrition in developing countries from University of Montpellier-France. 

His research interests include community oriented research, with an emphasis on several public health topics including Breastfeeding practices, Child Obesity prevalence and risk factors, Internet addiction and nutritional health outcome, Nutrition school programs, Energy drinks consumption, and Child Oral health and risk factors. 

Dr. Bou Yazbeck is member in different scientific committees and participated in many national and international scientific conferences.
